McDonalds wanted a campaign to accompany its release of their lobster roll. The lobster roll is a regional offering, only available at McDonalds in the New England area. The campaign consisted of a commercial edited for both broadcast and digital, a large out of home presence in the Boston region, and in-store signage.  

The real thing

The client wanted to promote the availability of the regional favorite while highlighting the price and the authenticity of the lobster.

A part of the New England experience

The resulting campaign used designs and type inspired by vintage shop signs from fishing towns in the region. The commercial featured a group of friends on a classic New England road trip up the north shore capping the day off with the McDonald's Lobster roll.
