Mayflower wanted to take its existing site and give a new look that would be more approachable and navigable. I worked alongside a UI expert to give the site a new flow and look that would best represent Mayflower to their customers.
A new look
The redesign started from a place of approachability. From the design to the UI we looked at how to best present Mayflower and the services it offers to potential customers. We took the information from the old cluttered website and adapted it to a cleaner, more open design. We rearranged the messaging to lead site visitors in the right direction. A system of components were created to create consistency across all pages of the site.

Creating the Aesthetic
As part of the redesign I pitched a new, unique set of icons and illustrations to accompany the photos and designs. A whole suite of icons was created. Mimicking the rounded shape used in the design blocks, the illustrations increased the personality and approachability of the project overall. It also provided Mayflower a distinctive look that was then extended into social media.
